Go ahead, take a guess

Exams… what’s the point? Why can’t you just take our word for it?

Or,  in the words of my wonderous History prof:

“Exams are basically a game by the name of “guess what’s in my head.” Well, I’m currently thinking about whether I’ll get to play Batman on X-Box over this weekend. How is this relevant to your course? Exactly. It isn’t.”

Thank the Lord for reasonable teachers =)

Haha, students don’t know that exams are also stressful for the teachers, really no kidding. If the teacher is responsible and really wants a good assessment of his/her students it takes effort to make a good exam in order to evaluate the learning of their students.

Blah that sounded bland lol well ehm in uni it was hard studying how to make exams. Funny thing that course was considered the hardest of all. The teacher used to scare us by telling us it was hard :S

Glad I found someone who like psychology too :D

Lol, no that wasn’t bland. As I teacher I totally understand. I *despised* marking and coming up with questions. But at the same time, I believe in giving students a fightening chance… especially when the course spans the 18th century to present day. It’s a bit much, don’t you think?

As for the rest, how ironic!

How is U of C treating you anyways? I am drowning in Midterm Misery. Hope all is well.

Alhamdulilah! More fast-paced than I’d anticipated, but hey, I’ve been waiting for so long I can’t really complain eh?

And I sympathize! HATE midterms! Especially since all my courses have like 2 or 3 midterms each. So it’s two weeks of hell, breather, and repeat cycle.

      Best of luck!
